Garden Finance Exploit Results in $450,000 Loss

An exploit targeting Garden Finance's HTLC contracts has drained approximately $450,000 in USDT. The project reported that an independent solver's off-chain database was compromised, leading to fraudulent records.

Security firm Blockaid identified an ongoing exploit affecting Garden Finance's HTLC contracts. This incident resulted in the loss of about $450,000 in USDT across multiple chains including Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, and BNB Chain.

According to the project, the protocol and smart contracts themselves were not compromised. Instead, the issue stemmed from the insertion of fraudulent records into an independent solver's off-chain database, which caused improper fund releases. In response to the exploit, the application has been temporarily taken offline.
