LOOPSDAO Exploited for $690,000 on BSC
LOOPSDAO's LpdFi protocol was exploited, resulting in a loss of $690,000. The attacker manipulated the price on PancakeSwap to drain funds from the protocol.
On August 2, 2026, LOOPSDAO’s LpdFi protocol on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) was targeted in an exploit. The attacker utilized a flash loan to manipulate the spot price of the PancakeSwap LPD/USDC pair, which lacked a time-weighted average price (TWAP) or deviation guard.
By opening an inflated interest-bearing position with minimal LPD, the attacker was able to claim interest across the daily settlement boundary. This action caused the protocol to burn its own Cake-LP and pay out an inflated amount, leading to a total loss of approximately $690,000.
